2026년도 글로벌경영학회 회장 민순홍입니다.

존경하는 글로벌경영학회 회원 여러분, 그리고 학회의 발전을 위해 애써 주시는 원로 교수님들, 전임 회장님과 이사장님, 후원자 및 후원기업 관계자 여러분께 깊은 존경과 감사의 인사를 드립니다.

먼저, 글로벌경영학회를 창립하시고 오늘의 기반을 다져 주신 선배님들의 헌신에 진심으로 감사드립니다. 또한 학회의 정체성과 학문적 방향을 정립하신 전임 회장님과 이사장님, 그리고 이사님들께도 깊이 감사드립니다. 선배 학자 여러분의 노력 위에 오늘의 글로벌경영학회가 서 있습니다.

아울러 학회의 학술활동에 적극적으로 참여해 주시는 회원 여러분, 학회의 비전과 사명을 함께 지지해 주시는 후원자와 후원기업 관계자 여러분께도 진심으로 감사드립니다. 학문과 산업을 연결하는 여러분의 참여와 지원이야말로 우리 학회의 가장 중요한 자산입니다.

2026년 글로벌경영학회는 “글로벌 지속가능경영”을 축으로 국내 확장과 국제 심화라는 이중 전략을 추진하고자 합니다. 우리는 지금 혼돈과 AI 전환의 시대에 서 있습니다. 지정학적 불확실성, 공급망 재편, 기술 패러다임의 급속한 변화 속에서 글로벌 경영은 새로운 방향을 요구받고 있습니다. 이러한 시대적 문제의식 속에서 우리는 “혼돈과 AI의 시대, 지속가능한 글로벌 경영의 방향을 묻다”라는 주제를 통해 글로벌 경영의 미래를 학문적으로 모색하고자 합니다.

올해 학회는 한국생산운영관리학회와의 공동 춘계학술대회 등을 시작으로 일본 사가대학, Japanese Operations Management & Strategy Association 등과 협력하여 공동 세미나, 국제심포지움 개최 등을 통해 국내외 학술 네트워크를 실질적으로 확장할 계획입니다. 이는 단순한 일회성 학술 교류를 넘어, 지속가능경영을 중심으로 한 국제 공동 연구 기반을 구축하려는 전략적 시도입니다.

글로벌경영학회는 앞으로도 학술적 엄밀성과 실천적 유의성을 함께 추구하는 학회로 성장하고자 합니다. 학술–산업–정책을 연결하는 플랫폼으로서, 그리고 글로벌 지속가능경영 연구를 선도하는 학문 공동체로서 책임을 다하겠습니다.

회원 여러분의 지속적인 참여와 성원이 학회의 미래를 결정합니다. 함께 고민하고, 함께 토론하며, 함께 방향을 설계해 나가기를 기대합니다.

Dear Members of the Academic Society of Global Business Administration,

It is my great honor to serve as the President of the Academic Society of Global Business Administration for the year 2026. I would like to extend my deepest respect and sincere gratitude to all members of our Society, as well as to the distinguished senior scholars, former presidents, the chairman of the board, board members, and our valued supporters and corporate partners who have contributed to the development of our Society.

First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the founding members and senior scholars who established the Academic Society of Global Business Administration and laid the foundation for its growth. I am also deeply grateful to the former presidents, the chairman of the board, and the board members who have helped shape the identity and academic direction of our Society. The achievements of our Society today stand firmly upon the dedication and efforts of these distinguished scholars.

I would also like to sincerely thank all members who actively participate in the Society’s academic activities, as well as our supporters and corporate partners who share and support the Society’s vision and mission. Your engagement and support, connecting academia and industry, represent one of the most valuable assets of our Society.

In 2026, the Academic Society of Global Business Administration will pursue a dual strategy of domestic expansion and international deepening, centered on the theme of "Global Sustainable Management". We are living in an era characterized by both uncertainty and AI-driven transformation. Amid geopolitical instability, the restructuring of global supply chains, and rapid technological paradigm shifts, global business and management are being called upon to find new directions. In response to these challenges, our Society seeks to explore the future of global management through the theme:

“In the Era of Turbulence and AI: Exploring the Direction of Sustainable Global Management.”

This year, beginning with the joint Spring Conference with the Korean Production and Operations Management Society, the Society plans to expand its domestic and international academic networks through collaborative seminars and international symposiums in cooperation with Saga University in Japan and the Japanese Operations Management & Strategy Association. These initiatives go beyond one-time academic exchanges and represent a strategic effort to establish a sustainable foundation for international collaborative research centered on sustainable management.

The Academic Society of Global Business Administration will continue to grow as a scholarly community that pursues both academic rigor and practical relevance. As a platform connecting academia, industry, and policy, we will strive to fulfill our role as a leading academic community advancing research in global sustainable management.

The future of our Society depends on the continued participation and support of our members. I look forward to engaging in meaningful dialogue, collaborative discussions, and collective efforts to shape our future together.
