2024년 글로벌경영학회의 공동 회장을 맡게 된 상명대학교 양석준, 하북지질대학교 庞宇(팡위) 교수입니다. 우선 저희들에게 학회에 봉사할 수 있는 기회를 주신 점 진심으로 감사드립니다.  또한 지금까지 학회의 발전을 이끌어주신 전임 회장님들과 임원진들, 그리고 학회에 헌신적인 노력을 해주신 많은 회원님들께 다시한번 감사드립니다. 특히 코로나가 종식되면서 다시 학회 활동을 활발하게 이끌어주신 전임 이창원 회장님께도 특별한 감사를 드립니다.

 저희는 2024년 공동 회장으로서 다음과 같은 세가지 부분을 함께 추진하고자 합니다. 

 첫째, 학회의 지향점인 글로벌화에 보다 큰 비중을 두어 노력하겠습니다. 우선 공동 회장님과 함께 일본, 중국, 몽골 등 주변 국가들로 학회의 활동범위를 확장해 나가도록 노력하겠습니다. 가능한 국가부터 부회장을 모시고자 하며, 1년에 2회 있는 학회도 1회는 공동 회장님에 계신 중국에서 수행하는 등 학회의 활동범위를 보다 확장하겠습니다. 

 둘째, 학술지의 글로벌화도 노력하겠습니다. 다국가 연구자들의 영어 논문 투고량을 늘리는 등의 노력을 경주하겠습니다. 이를 통하여 글로벌하게 인정받을 수 있는 학술지로 발전하기 위한 기초를 마련하겠습니다.

 세째, 회원분들이 보다 많은 만남을 가지고 학회를 발전시킬 수 있는 교류의 장을 만들기 위하여 노력하겠습니다. 

 2024년 한해 회원과 함께 발전하는 학회가 되기 위하여 최선을 다하겠습니다. 학회 회원분들의 많은 참여와 지원 부탁드립니다. 올 한해 늘 행복하시고 건강하시길 기원드립니다. 감사합니다.

Dear fellow members of the Academic Society of Global Business Administration,

     I am Yang, Suk-joon, a Professor at Sangmyung University and Pangyu at Hebei  University of Geosciences. It is both an honor and a privilege to stand before you as the co-chairman of the Academic Society of Global Business Administration for the year 2024. I would like to express my gratitude to the former presidents and executives who have played key roles in the development of our society, as well as the many dedicated members whose efforts have contributed significantly. Special thanks to my predecessor, Lee Chang-won, for leading the society's activities amidst the challenges posed by the conclusion of the pandemic.

     In 2024, we aim to focus on three key areas collaboratively.

    Firstly, we will prioritize the goal of globalization for our conferences. Our plan includes expanding the conference's reach to neighboring countries like Japan, China, and Mongolia. Efforts will be made to invite vice-chairmen from these countries, and we contemplate hosting the winter conference in China, where one of the co-chairmen resides.

   Secondly, we are committed to enhancing the global presence of our academic journals. Initiatives will be taken to encourage researchers from diverse countries to submit English-language articles. This endeavor aims to lay the groundwork for our journal to be recognized on a global scale.

  Thirdly, we aspire to create more opportunities for member interaction, fostering a collaborative environment to further the society's development through increased meetings.

     In 2024, we are dedicated to evolving into an association that thrives in synergy with its members. We earnestly seek your participation and support in this endeavor. Wishing you all a successful and fulfilling year.
